SART-2
Welcome to the home page of SART-2, a project aimed at developing a biometric system that would increase the security level of mobile workstations by combining automatic face recognition with the analysis of the way a device is used. This is a research project nr N N516 367936 funded by the Polish Ministry of Science and Education (2009-2011) and National Science Centre (2011-2012), realized by the Department of Intelligent Interactive Systems at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics of the Gdansk University of Technology.
The general task is to apply the biometric technology (i.e. the methods of identification based on physical and behavioral features of the users) to improve the security of mobile devices containing confidential data. More information about the goals of our work can be found in the Project section.
The Staff members are the employees of the Department and the students of Intelligent Interactive Systems specialization.
